Created by Paint it Back founder Chris Shannon, this mural was designed to represent reflection, beauty, regeneration, and our deep connection to the natural world. The artwork encourages viewers to pause and appreciate the quiet moments of growth and renewal that shape our lives.
A luminous figure set against an expansive background creates a powerful contrast, capturing both the fragility and resilience of the human experience. Through thoughtful imagery, color, and scale, the mural transforms an everyday space into a place for reflection, conversation, and community connection.

This project was made possible through a grant awarded to Paint it Back by the Iowa Economic Development Authority, helping support the creation of meaningful public art and the revitalization of shared spaces throughout Clinton.
